It does not approve development of the property.<BR/><BR/> <BR/><BR/>John Flowers, 1621 Rainier Avenue; and Dave Mascarenas, 517 Laurel Drive, spoke in support of the proposed development.<BR/><BR/> <BR/><BR/>Ron Toppi, 1804 ½ Hewitt #C, expressed concerns regarding the utilization of an out-of-state developer.<BR/><BR/> <BR/><BR/>Jim Reinhartson, Heartland, responded to concerns regarding safeguards in the agreement. He stated that the transaction has been structured to insure that both the City of Everett and Oliver McMillan stand up to their commitments.<BR/><BR/> <BR/><BR/> <BR/><BR/>Roll was called with all council members voting yes.<BR/><BR/> <BR/><BR/> Motion carried.<BR/><BR/> <BR/><BR/>Paul Buss, President, OliverMcMillan, thanked the City Council for its vote of confidence and the tremendous effort by all those who were involved in the project.
